Elected Unofficials

My election coverage will appear here as it develops.

UPDATE: I just got an email saying that my ballot was counted! Still waiting on an email saying my student loan debt was cancelled…

UPDATE: I’m planning on having a completed piece on my voting experience posted by Tuesday or Thursday

UPDATE: I’m following the House races for the remaining seats

UPDATE: I think the smaller, local races and the House races are the most important to follow; the “elected officials” from the other elections were already bought and paid for by American imperialism

UPDATE: My piece is tentatively scheduled to drop Thursday and is tentatively titled “Does Every Vote Really Count?: Data Collection and Disability Access for the 2024 Elections”

UPDATE: The working thesis for my piece: Sure, absentee voting makes voting more convenient for everyone, but that doesn’t make it a disability accomodation

UPDATE: It looks like the Republicans won the House

UPDATE: My new podcast studio won’t be set up in time to cover the elections in a podcast episode, so I’m planning on publishing a blog post on Wednesday, Nov. 27 that will sum up my election coverage

UPDATE: I think I will be able to publish a blog post Wednesday and a podcast episode Friday

UPDATE: For personal reasons and because of developments in the House elections for my state, I will be pushing my election coverage to next week
